How far in advance should I book a session?

We recommend to ensure you can pick the optimal time and day for you to book 3 months in advance.  We always make newborns a priority and try and squeeze them in.  We only have a few spaces left before the end of the year and we are filling up in January and February already.   

What should I wear or bring to my session?

We recommend that you bring clothes that are modern and beautiful.  If you want to bring a beautiful fancy dress we prefer brands like Biscotti.  Here is a link to some great examples  We recommend that you do NOT bring smocked or traditional outfits as they don't photograph the best with our style.  If you want something different and not so formal we have a boutique in our studio that offers great choices.  Here is a link to the catalog.  If you see something in the catalog you would like to order for your session let us know and we will set it aside for you or order it for you if your size is not in stock. 

For parents we recommend layers of texture and to coordinate outfits and not match them. Use the palate of where you plan on displaying your image as the colors to blend together in your outfits.  If your house is neutral, you can pick some of your favorite colors and use it as a pop of color on your wall. 

I'm a photographer, does Heather offer mentoring or workshops?

We offer hour long phone consults, shadowing where you come and hang out with Heather all day and we will be having our next Studio workshop in 2011.  The date is yet to be published.  You can check out our photographer site here.
