He Loves Us!

This is a video of Catherine Mullins at the Lakeland Outpouring with Todd Bentley. This song was written by John Mark McMillan. It is a really awesome story in how the song was written. John Mark's best friend was a youth pastor and was at early morning prayer meeting. He prayed that if it would effect the youth of this nation for Christ that he would give his life. That night he died in a car accident. The next morning John Mark wrote this song about seeing for God for the first time in heaven. He said that every time he plays it people get saved and are overwhelmed by how much God loves them.

I have been praying that God would let me feel His awesome love. I knew He loved me in my head, but I never felt His amazing love. Last week I felt it for the first time. He truly does love me and loves each us so passionately. I hope you are blessed by His Love.

Here is John Mark McMillan sharing the story. He is so choked up about it he can barely sing.

Heather, If you have not seen this video (from YouTube) you have to see it. I think it has the same song - it is really powerful. I even posted it on my blog here: http://mommyspage.blogspot.com/2008/07/cardboard-testimonies.html
Thanks!

Hey Heather...thanks for sharing this. This song has been playing over and over in my car all summer. It reminds me of His hope and love...so I play it often :) It's one of my all time favorites! I had never heard the story of why it was written. We sang it at a youth camp this summer with thousands of teenagers...There are youth all over this country clinging to the words of this song...I see it on their facebooks :) How awesome and faithful is God!
