This song was written by John Mark McMillan. It is a really awesome story in how the song was written. John Mark's best friend was a youth pastor and was at early morning prayer meeting. He prayed that if it would effect the youth of this nation for Christ that he would give his life. That night he died in a car accident. The next morning John Mark wrote this song about seeing for God for the first time in heaven. He said that every time he plays it people get saved and are overwhelmed by how much God loves them.

I have been praying that God would let me feel His awesome love. I knew He loved me in my head, but I never felt His amazing love. Last week I felt it for the first time. He truly does love me and loves each us so passionately. I hope you are blessed by His Love.

Here is John Mark McMillan sharing the story. He is so choked up about it he can barely sing.

(Don't forget we have a senior booking special of $50 off your session fee until August 1st.) Victoria was our intern last summer. We had a blast. I got to do all her hair and make-up and Amy did the shooting. We found a new warehouse location that has great texture and personality.

I wish I could have my whole studio in a location like this. It is just my style. I am the type that just loves to go to Anthropologie to look at how they have merchandized everything. I could be lost in there for hours just ask my husband! I think it is neat how what we are drawn to is part of how God made us unique. My friend Tana just loves to go Fresh Market. It makes her heart sing. I like to go to Fresh Market to, but there is only so long I can look at spices!

So maybe one day Tana will have her cooking show and I will have my warehouse studio, but until then enjoy these images. As it gave us great pleasure to make them!
These shots were in front of the Anthropologie wall. It was drizzling to nice soaking shower during the whole shoot. We all got soaked but Miss Brinlee loved it, so we stayed and played. Her Mom and Dad were real troopers braving the weather, they will definitely have an original one-of-kind session. This session made my heart sing!
Some of my favorite images when I was pregnant was when Ben and I were just having fun together outside. You know the whole holding hands, feeling romantic and just having fun together. We were SO Happy with a capital "H" to be pregnant. It was like a dream. When I look at my maternity images it makes me remember that feeling like I had the best secret in the world. There is no other feeling like it.
So, pulling from those emotions I did a session with Monique and Nick. I just LOVE them, and they are are expecting their first. This day was beautiful and very, very windy. It was snowing blooms from the Bradford Pears. They were very sweet and cute with each other. We used downtown Huntsville as our backdrop. At the end of our time together I asked Nick to kiss Monique like he never kissed her before. And, he did! I got an amazing shot of them. You can just feel the passion between them. I loved this shot so much it is in our new mall display. Which you have to check out. Amy and I painted a tree on the wall! We were their till 2:30 in the morning. I felt like I was in college again.
You can see Monique and Nick's entire session on the main website. Just click on galleries and then urban maternity.
Have a Happy Spring Day!

That is what happened to me. I kept saying the word "Awesome" at the March Ripe conference. Now every time I say it I think I need to broaden my vocab skills. :) Anyway, we had a fabulous time at the RIPE conference and we were sad when the two days came to a end.

Here is the group shot of all the attendees. I promised them I would blog about it so they could see the pic and blog themselves. We are in front of row of Bradford pear trees. They only bloom like that for about two weeks and then they turn green.

Here are some of the images I took in the part of the conference where I shot to show the photogs my technique. Gabriella decided to let me photograph her in front of the group. She is normally really shy so I was a bit concerned about her performing in front of a group. She did really well. Here is one of my favs from her part of the session.
